Hi everyone! I will be participating in a medical relief and education mission trip with members of Team Broken Earth in January 2023!
I am a third year medical student at MUN in St. John's, NL. I have been invited to participate in Team Broken Earth's rural mission in January of 2023, thanks to the generous support of the Dr. David Lacey Memorial Scholarship. I am thrilled to join this incredible team which will be visting rural regions of Guatemala, including the communities of Ixcan, Fray Bartolome de las Casas & Chisec, to provide in-clinic care and set patients up with short- and long-term access to surgical care and follow up, in partnership with Partners for Health Guatemala.
