I am fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in a medical relief and education mission trip to Antigua, Guatemala, with Team Broken Earth Barrie, in November 2023.

This will be my third mission to Guatemala. During our first mission in May 2019, we successfully performed over 60 surgeries, and during our trip in October 2022, we conducted around 50 much-needed gynecological, orthopedic, and general procedures. These surgeries were crucial for people who lacked access to such medical services.

As we prepare for our upcoming mission, we aim to help just as many people, if not more, and we rely on your support to achieve this goal. Your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need.

One of the challenges we face is securing all the required items and medication for the mission. Unfortunately, there is no local inventory of supplies in Guatemala that we can rely on, so we must bring everything we need.

We are seeking your help in reaching our fundraising goal. Your generosity will empower us to bring much-needed medical aid to those who are currently underserved in Guatemala. Together, we can bring hope and healing to people who would otherwise not have access to these life-changing services.
