I am both thrilled and honoured to be participating in a medical relief and education mission trip to Guatemala with members of Team Broken Earth Barrie in May 2020. We will spend a week performing gynecological, orthopedic, and general surgeries in Guatemala city, for people who otherwise may not have access to these services.
Living in Canada we are so very fortunate to have access to healthcare when necessary. Joining Team Broken Earth allows some of us to go to places where healthcare is not as easily accessible. Sharing our time, and services is a privledge which I am very much looking forward to.
