As many of you know, I will be participating in a medical relief and education mission tip to Guatemala with Team Broken Earth, Barrie in May of 2020. We will spend a week performing gynecological, orthopedic, and general surgeries in Guatemala City, for people who otherwise would not have access to these services. This will be my fourth mission with this team and second trip to Guatemala. We will be working with Partner for Surgery conducting clinics, performing surgeries and providing follow up care while we are there. For our mission we need to secure supplies and equipment through donation or purchase. Each team member is required to raise funds for their travel and the actural cost of operating on patients, in addition to the costs of purchasing various supplies.
