This is the donation page for John Roth as a member of the PCS Toronto team.
Use this page to donate to our group through me. Please note: Your (almost immediate) CRA receipt will come from our national organization, Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada (PCFC), since PCST is not currently a registered charity. Half of what we raise comes back to PCST to cover our expanses and rest goes to PCFC, which uses it to help support groups in the rest of the country.
Men across Canada are facing an uncertain future with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Yes there are treatment options, but the reality is cancer is cancer. Prostate cancer is the #1 cancer for men and the second leading cause of cancer death. 1 in 8 Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Look after yourself and get PSA tests in consultation with your family doctor.
Now more than ever men are feeling alone in their cancer fight. With other resources at a minimum, Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada has continued to step up their services. PCST will continue to support men and their families.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Support me and make a donation to the 26th Annual Father’s Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer.
THE FATHER'S DAY WALK RUN EVENT
While this is considered to be a virtual event by PCFC, PCS Toronto is considering a somewhat casual get together at Ashbridges Bay park on the morning of Father's Day. It will basically be a brief tailgate party followed by a walk on the boardwalk. Please check our website for details at https://pcstoronto.ca/donate/.
Every donation, big or small, will have a huge impact for men and their families dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis in Canada.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for giving the men in your life the gift of health this Father's Day.
