Everyone - once again, on Sunday, July 14th in aid of the deaf and hard of hearing, I am doing the Rotary Club of Vancouver Hearing Foundation Ride for Hearing.
This is a worthy cause that has made many improvements for the deaf and hard of hearing in British Columbia. We have raised and donated more than $3.3 million to many hearing projects including:
- B.C. Women's and Children's Hospital cochlear implant program for children.
- The Rotary Hearing and Balance Clinic at St. Paul's Hospital.
- UBC Faculty of Medicine Hearing Research.
- Community based hearing programs throughout the province.
