For the second year, WorkSafeBC employees have formed a team to participate in Ride for Hearing in aid of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in British Columbia. We call ourselves "Heard Mentality"!
There are over 400,000.00 BC residents who suffer hearing loss and we are proud to ride 105km on July 14 to support them. Your donation will go to the Rotary Club of Vancouver Hearing Foundation and will fund important projects including St. Paul's hospital which is the premier hearing hospital in BC, BC Children'sHospital's Hearing and Speech Centre, BC Family Hearing Resource Centre, the Hearing Foundation of Canada,the Rotary Hearing Centre at UBC, Douglas College for the Hearing Instrument Practitioner Program, CKNW Kids'Fund for hearing aids for children.
