Biography of the presenter:

Kimberley Gunning, MSW, RSW, Reiki Level 1&2, Social Worker,Therapist, Wellbeing Coach is passionate about the benefits of integrating holistic wellness with traditional therapeutic modalities. She holds a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto with over 20 years experience in the field and is founder of Kaleidoscope Wellness Niagara. Kimberley believes that the most important thing we can do every day is show up for ourselves. She brings lived experience and knowledge of what it is like to come back from burn out. During a time when many practitioners were overwhelmed from the demands of the pandemic, Kimberley focused on finding alternate ways of healing. She completed her Reiki Level 1&2, implemented meditation, yoga and reiki into her daily living and now shares new tools in her clinical practice.

Recognizing that we need to continue to grow, Kimberley is about to step out of her comfort zone and will be starting Yoga Teacher training in October 2024. Kimberley has also teamed up with Melanie DiPaola of Zen House Yoga Studio to offer their first transformational retreat combining yoga, mindfulness, meditation, reiki and self awareness activities in the beautiful location of Samana, Dominican Republic in February 2025.

Kimberley believes that in order to navigate life’s challenges we need to use humor, self compassion and to find community. She is excited to be sharing the art of Kintsugi with her fellow social workers.
