How do I preview & test an event?

To preview and test your draft event registration form:

Click Registrar to view the Main Menu of this service.
From the Setup section, click Manage Events.
Click Draft.
Click Profile next to the event name you would like to preview.
Click Preview. The event registration form will appear as it will be displayed to the public, except that a yellow message box will appear indicating that "This view is in Preview Mode". Why is the Register Now button missing?
Complete the form to test the registration process. However, it is important that you select "Test Payment" on the payment page before clicking Submit Order. This will assure that:

This order is not written to the database, and your reports will not show this order. No fees are charged and no payments are made associated with this order.
Nevertheless, you will receive a confirmation email to simulate the process.

Tips:

Your account is live. So if you would like to step through the registration process to test your form, please select Test Payment if available or abort the process at the payment page. Otherwise, your registration will be processed and your account will be charged the transaction fees.
Why is the Register Now button missing?
If you already have a web browser open displaying the old registration form, please close the browser and open a new browser so that you can see your changes to your online form. Otherwise, your browser session will still exist, continuing to show the old settings even though you have hit the refresh button.

Hint: If the input fields are already filled out, this means that data continues to exist from the last session and you may not have the most recent version of your form. Just close all browsers and start again.
