How do I change an event with a survey to the new Ask Questions?

You can easily replace an existing Event Survey with the new Ask Questions functionality. This change can be made at any time, even after people have begun to register online.

Step 1- Disable the Event Survey:

  1. Click Registrar to view the Main Menu of this service.
  2. From the Setup section, click Manage Events.
  3. Click Change next to the event you would like to modify.
  4. Click Additional Info (light blue tab).
  5. Deselect your Event Survey
  6. Click Save.

Step 2 - Create your new Questions:

  1. From the Manage Events section, click Change to get back into your event setup.
  2. You will now see that the Additional Info tab has been changed to the Ask Questions tab.
  3. Click Ask Questions and follow the instructions to add questions which can be restricted to registrants purchasing a specific Registration Option, Session Option or Additional Item.
  4. Click Save.

How do I view the data collected?

  • Responses to the new Ask Questions section will be displayed in the Question Details report in the Event Registrar reports section.
  • If you have already collected responses using the old Event Survey, responses to the survey questions will be available in the Event Survey reports.
