How do I use Copy to create a new product?

Copying a product lets you create a new product based on the setup of an existing draft, active, or archived product.

  1. Locate the product by:
  2. To copy a product:
    • Click Copy next to the product to be copied.
    • Determine if your new draft product should have the same settings as the existing product's department(s) and inventory amount.
    • Click Save.Your copy of this product will appear in your list of Draft Products. The copy will have a new Product ID #, and [Copy] will appear at the front of the product name.
  3. Now you can update, view and activate this new draft product.
    • Click Change to update a draft product (learn more).
    • Click Activate to activate a draft product for launch (learn more).
    • Click View to view the product page. Note, if you have previously viewed this page from the same browser, your browser may continue to show you the old version. If this happens, please close your browser and get a fresh browser with a new browser session.
