2014-09-26 - Shellshock Bug

Security researchers have discovered a new software bug known as the "Bash Bug" or "Shellshock", that affects the Unix operating system upon which many other OS are built, including Linux and Mac OS.

We have been aware of the Shellshock bug since yesterday, at which point we updated our systems with the latest security patches.

The security of your users’ information is incredibly important, and as such it is our policy to always stay on top of all security patches. We will continue to monitor this issue.

Although no customer actions are necessary at this time with regards to your GiftTool account, we generally recommend changing passwords regularly.
