Hi everyone! My name is Faye and I am a Semester 6 Dental Hygiene student at Georgian College. I'm honored to share that this October 2025, I will be joining Team Broken Earth Barrie on my very first medical relief and education mission to Antigua, Guatemala, a region where many communities face significant barriers to accessing essential healthcare.

As part of the dental team, I’ll be assisting volunteer dentists with procedures such as extractions, restorations, sterilization, patient triage, and documentation. Together, our team will be providing vital medical and dental services to underserved communities.

These missions are entirely volunteer-run, so every contribution goes toward making them possible. Donations help cover surgical equipment, medical and dental supplies, medications, and post-operative care resources, as well as the travel costs that enable volunteers like me to be on the ground providing care. We are a registered charity and a tax receipt will be provided to all who support our mission.
