Race Events

Please Note:

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION  is on Thursday April 6th, 2023 at the West Vancouver Yacht Club (opens at 12:00 pm).  Confirmation MAY be possible to conduct not in person.

You must email the following items to the Southern Straits Regatta Office (email: SSregistration@wvyc.ca) before end of day Sunday, April 2, 2023:

(a)   A copy of your current Rating Certificate(s)
(b)  A copy of your current Insurance Certificate
(c)   A copy of the required Safety at Sea Certificates 
(d)  “Shore Contact” information for an individual, not racing, who shall be responsible for maintaining an accurate crew list. In the event that the Race Committee or Search and Rescue Authority require a complete crew list, this contact person will be asked to provide this list.

Reminder:

If you have an ORC rating, you may register in the Southern Straits Classic   Long Course.

If you have PHRF rating of 20 or higher, you may register in the Southern Straits Medium Course.

If you have a PHRF rating of 100 or higher , you may register in the Southern Straits Short Course.

The Southern Straits Inshore Course is open to boats with a valid PHRF certificate.

Dinner and Breakfast tickets will be available to purchase closer to the event.
