Presented by Kat Singer MSW, RSW
This webinar invites social workers to explore the distinct needs
of adults who discover their neurodivergence later in life,
particularly those with late diagnoses of autism and ADHD. A
neurodivergent therapist will discuss the impact of compulsory
neuronormativity and the deficit-based medical model on late-diagnosed
individuals. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the
challenges faced by this often overlooked and misunderstood
population, recognize their unique needs, and begin developing
effective strategies to offer meaningful support to late-identified
neurodivergent adults.
