Templates and your GiftTool account

How do I view the templates setup in my account?

Most accounts are setup with a single template design per service, which you can view when testing any of your forms for each service (Donations, Event Registrar, Pledge-a-thon, Shopping, Membership, Surveys & Tests).

If you have multiple templates in the system, you can view each template as follows:

Donations

  1. To view examples of each template, create or copy a donation appeal form, changing the template in the setup before viewing the appeal. Repeat for each template.

Event Registrar

  1. Click Registrar in the left navigation.
  2. Click Web Site Links
  3. If you have more than one template version in the system, each template will have a unique Event Listing Link with a different version number (for example: VER=2).
  4. Copy and paste each link into a browser to view the template design for each version.

Pledge-a-thon

  1. To view examples of each template, create or copy a Pledge-a-thon, changing the template in the setup before viewing the Pledge-a-thon. Repeat for each template.

Shopping

Currently, the Shopping Cart service only allows for a single template per language (English, French and/or Spanish).

  1. Click Shop in the left navigation.
  2. Click Embed Links.
  3. If you have have a template in more than one language, each template will have a unique Storefront Link with a different language indicated (for example: LNG=EN or LNG=FR).
  4. Copy and paste each link into a browser to view the template design for each version.

Surveys & Tests

  1. To view examples of each template, create or copy a survey or test, changing the template in the setup before viewing the survey or test. Repeat for each template.

Membership

Currently, the Membership service only allows for a single English template.
