How do I add a Pledge-a-thon coordinator profile?

Each Pledge-a-thon must have a Pledge-a-thon coordinator.

The name, address, and telephone number of the pledge-a-thon coordinator will show on the pledge-a-thon description page and on the email confirmation that gets sent to participants. Also, your confirmation emails will be sent using the coordinator's email address, displayed as the "From" email address in your participants' inboxes. You can input a specific person as coordinator or use generic language consistent with your organization's business practices. For example:

  • Jane Doe, Jane@yourorg.com, 1-555-123-4567 ext 123
  • Walk-a-thon Coordinator, ABC.WALK@yourorg.com, 1-555-123-4567


How do I add a Pledge-a-thon coordinator profile?

  1. Click Pledge-a-thon to view the Main Menu of this service.
  2. From the Setup section, choose Manage Coordinators.
  3. Click Add Coordinator button.
  4. Enter the coordinator's information into all fields:
    • First Name of the coordinator, that is shown on relevant Pledge-a-thon pages.
    • Last Name of the coordinator, that is shown on relevant Pledge-a-thon pages.
    • User Name. Although this field is required, login functionality is not currently available. At a future date, the coordinator will be able to use this user name to log into a restricted Admin section of your GiftTool account. (This should be different than the user name established for your main GiftTool account)
    • Password. Although this field is required, login functionality is not currently available. At a future date, the coordinator will be able to use this password to log into a restricted Admin section of your GiftTool account. (This should be different than the password established for your main GiftTool account)
    • Email Address, that is shown on relevant Pledge-a-thon pages.
    • Phone number, that is shown on relevant Pledge-a-thon pages.
  5. Click Save.
