Which version of Google Analytics am I using: Classic or Universal Analytics?

You can tell which version of Google Analytics you are using by following these Google instructions to see if you use Universal Analytics.

GiftTool officially supports and recommends using Universal Analytics (analytics.js), which is the latest version of Google Analytics and offers more flexibility for developers to customize their implementations.

Although you’re not required to upgrade to a Universal Analytics tracking code at this time, we strongly suggest you do. Classic Analytics (ga.js) tracking codes will be retired in the future.
