How do I cross-list related products?

Make your eStore easy for customers to use by cross-listing related products on the same page. The product’s thumbnail image & link will be shown at the bottom of the Product Details page of the related item. For example, in a department featuring winter coats, list accessories such as hats and gloves. Or, in a department featuring lamps, show related products such as extension cords and light bulbs.

  1. From the Setup section of the Shopping Cart menu, click Products & Departments.
  2. Click Cross List Products button.
  3. Select a Department from the drop down menu.
  4. If you want to feature a product with one of more products, enter the product ID number in the Feature with specific products column.
    For Products in this department:
    • You can see all product ID for products in this department listed in the first column as a reference.
    For Products in other departments:
    • Click Save.
    • From the drop down menu, select the department which contains your product.
    • Make a note of the products ID numbers you are interested in.
    • Return to your original department to enter the product ID numbers.
  5. If you want to feature a product with all products in a specific department, enter the department ID number in the Feature with all products in a specific department column.
    • To find a department ID, click on the arrow of the drop down menu without selecting an actual department. The drop down list contains a list of all your departments with ID numbers.
    • Make a note of the department ID numbers you are interested in.
    • Enter these ID numbers.
  6. Click Save.
